OPatch failed with error code 73
In /etc/oraInst.loc, it provides the „inventory_loc“ like
inventory_loc= /home/oracle/oraInst.loc

> inventory_loc
1. If inventory_loc does not exist, it will throw:
OPatch failed to locate Central Inventory.
Possible causes are:
The Central Inventory is corrupted
The oraInst.loc file specified is not valid.
LsInventorySession failed: OPatch failed to locate Central Inventory.
Possible causes are:
The Central Inventory is corrupted
The oraInst.loc file specified is not valid.
OPatch failed with error code 73

2. If inventory_loc exists, but it is a file, it throws:
Unable to lock Central Inventory. OPatch will attempt to re-lock.

3. If inventory_loc is a valid directory, but is not oraInventory, it will throw:
Inventory load failed… OPatch cannot load inventory for the given Oracle Home.
Possible causes are:
Oracle Home dir. path does not exist in Central Inventory
Oracle Home is a symbolic link
Oracle Home inventory is corrupted
LsInventorySession failed: OracleHomeInventory gets null oracleHomeInfo
OPatch failed with error code 73

Lösung:
Nachziehen des richtigen Ordners für das Inventory:
$ cat „/etc/oraInst.loc“

Eintrag – ‚/etc/oraInst.loc‘ oder ‚/var/opt/oracle/oraInst.loc‘
